Bike commuting can be easy, fun and environmentally friendly. In many parts of the world, a bicycle is an important and valuable tool for accessing education, improving healthcare, and creating economic opportunities.  
 
This year, Active Transportation Alliance and World Bicycle Relief are teaming up to mobilize communities in Chicago and rural Africa with The Power of Bicycles! 

Demonstrate your company’s commitment to local and global empowerment by bike commuting with a purpose this year. 

1. Register your corporate team in the Bike Commuter Challenge 
2. Add a fundraising component to your team’s efforts 
3. Bike to work, burn some calories, log your trips and rally your co-workers and friends to support The Power of Bicycles locally and globally!

Your team will:

• Receive a customizable personal fundraising page
• Be encouraged with tools and tips leading up to and throughout Bike Week
• Be eligible for incentives and prizes like cycling apparel, bike gear and more! Additional opportunities to highlight your company’s efforts:
  • Booth space and recognition at Bike Week Rally
  • Awards and honors at Bike Week Rooftop Party

Fundraising dollars will be split 50/50 to benefit Active Transportation Alliance and World Bicycle Relief. Your generous donations will help:

• Provide quality youth and adult bike education programs in the Chicagoland area
• Advocate for pedestrian safety at dangerous intersections and crossing in Chicago and suburban municipalities
• Provide bikes to students, healthcare workers and entrepreneurs in rural Africa
